– T reads the new words 3 times then has sts repeat again in chorus then individually.

3. Practice ( mins)
* Read and match
– T guides sts read the word then match the word with the thing in the picture on page 6.
– Sts read then do matching. T corrects.
* Listen and read
– T reads the poem in the text book modally then has sts read it
– T calls some sts read the poem then explains the meaning for sts. II. Read and match

III. Listen and read

4. further practice ( mins)
– T lets sts make the words with the ‘ai’ sound.
Sts make the words individually in the text book.
